Freshly split Blue Gum firewood - This firewood is UNSEASONED and hasn't been screened to remove the bark and smaller pieces. This product will require drying.

Gum is a hardwood timber, as a firewood, it is a slow and very clean burning firewood once dried correctly. Gum produces maximum heat output as it burns at a very high temperature.

As it is a hardwood it can be difficult to start the fire with and is more suitable to use once your fire is already going. We advise that if you purchase Gum firewood you are best to pair it with a softwood such as Oregon firewood or Pine Block – which are both great for getting fires going quickly.
